About Bitcoin News

Bitcoin News is operated by Saint Bitts LLC, a company incorporated in the country of Saint Kitts and Nevis. This website is intended to deliver news related to the Bitcoin network.

We do not control or represent Bitcoin in any way.

News.Bitcoin.com operates from several locations globally with HQ in Tokyo. We also report on the go and we have co-workers spread out all over the globe.

If there is any info you’d like to share with us, you are welcome to;

1. send us a news tip via [email protected] or
2. apply to publish a press release with us following the instructions here or
3. suggest an OP-ed article (written in full, thoroughly proofread, sent to [email protected]) or
4. contact [email protected] to talk about banner ads and other display options.

We publish a comprehensive news feed covering all news relevant to the Bitcoin user, covering main industry news, politics and regulation as well as consumer-level “news you can use” (practical stuff), including handy DIY tips, links to useful tools, unbiased reviews and opinions revolving around Bitcoin. Simple logic and real-world examples are preferred before technical jargon and personal rants.

News.bitcoin.com was ranked the best crypto news website of 2019 by btcpeers.com due to our engaging content. This was evident in our high average visit duration and low bounce rates. Our readership is truly global, with just below 30% of our traffic originating from the US, a little more than 30% from the EU and the rest (40%) mainly from Asia (with India in top). Over time a few countries in Africa has started contributing to our traffic too.

Editorial Policy

Our editorial policy is informed by logic and based on the Satoshi white paper.

We do not publish unsolicited articles from 3:rd parties (as we have our own team of exclusive full-time reporters). We do not insert SEO-targeted links or partake in other editorial cooperations. Our news posts aren’t for sale.

We usually do not cover pre-launch stage projects or promises of future success. We get numerous requests to cover startups in beta mode, infographics, new partnerships, token pre-sales, crowdfunds, altcoins, untested blockchains, VC conferences and the like, but we’re focused on real-world Bitcoin-related news. We target the general Bitcoin user (you!) rather than any specific industry, so rather than send us quotes on what you are going to achieve in the future, get back to us when you’ve actually seen some traction.

We’ve grown over the years and peak traffic has put us above 10 million page views per month, with numbers differing over seasons and depending on market sentiment. Our lively comment fields show people care about our content.

We also serve several industries relating to Bitcoin, helping companies reach out through our PR and ad packages in a multitude of channels with a growing number of subscribers (to name a few of them we reach 450,000+ on Twitter, 40,000+ on Telegram and we’ve signed up more than 250,000 notification subscribers – and our newsletters reach tens of thousands too. Of course we also update millions of Bitcoin fans through social networks like Facebook and Instagram).

If you are interested in contributing to news.Bitcoin.com as a contributing writer please send a CV, a personal letter and a few ideas on what you’d like to write about to editor(at)bitcoin.com. We reply only to complete applications. Note that unless you are an experienced reporter and very knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies, and their history, there is no point in applying.

For news tips (we read all incoming mail, but apologize beforehand that we cannot answer all);
